Captain Paul Anderson has forwarded a message to members regarding a change to AGC's MasterScoreboard website:
Good Day All,
We are in the process of moving to online sign up for competition. All members will be requested to create a personal password for sign in. The initial default password is agc123, thereafter create your own personal password for future use. Apologies for the short notice in this, which was due to the creation of the test environment.
A players guide will be created and published this weekend, and assistance will be available both at the club and via H&C as we make the transition during November.
Regards
Paul, Captain
Addendum (by Onny Martin)
Obviously, online competition sign-up requires some form of unique player identification - and this is done in the normal manner with a user name and password.
Unfortunately (it seems), the MasterScoreboard software does not provide the facility to have a password for competition sign-up, whilst
not needing a password to see historic competition results or handicaps. The software only allows a single global password. As a consequence of this restriction:
- Only current Members, after logging-in, may view historic competition results.
- Only current Members, after logging-in, may view handicaps.
This applies to the MasterScoarboard website and to the pages within AGC's website that display MasterScoreboard information.
However, prize winner results continue to be available within AGC's website (rather than results for all players)
without the need to log in.
